Professional Learning for all
The ambition of our Professional Learning Institute (PLI) is to enable all colleagues from across Summit Learning Trust to access and engage with high quality, evidence informed Professional Learning, to help them in being the best version of themselves, and in delivering the best opportunities for our children and young people.
As an institute we utilise the extensive expertise that exists within Summit Learning Trust, across our Academies and Central Team, and also work with a range of local and national partners to help provide the highest quality learning experiences for all.
The range of Professional Learning opportunities curated, are informed by the PLI’s core principles, and also the mechanisms identified by the Education Endowment Fund’s research into Effective Professional Development (2021), offering Professional Learning which:
Builds Knowledge
Motivates Colleagues
Develops Teaching Techniques (for Teaching Colleagues)
Embeds Practice.
The Professional Learning offer aims to support colleagues in their day-to-day role, and in their professional journeys. Building autonomy, connections and confidence to support all colleagues in being the best version of themselves.
